What Should I Focus On Saving Time Or Saving Money?

Another episode of what would Charlotte do. Today, I’m answering, probably the main question that many people have. And that’s around, what should I focus on saving time or saving money. And this question sits on a lot of people’s minds because this is something that you’re torn by.

You need time you need money

What do I do, do I spend money and invest in order to save time, or do I spend my time doing these things to save money. What’s the right solution? For me, it’s saving time, because by saving time, you are going to generate money. If you are spending your time wisely.

So, what I mean by this is for many people, they would prefer the money side. And keep your money in their business and that’s their focus to keep their money. If you have a bottleneck to yourself in your business you have created a business that’s reliant on you and that you need to be working in and on all the time.

Without scalable business systems in place, means that you are responsible for everything

You’re responsible for the execution for the vision for the managing for deliverability for everything that happens in business. It comes down to you. But when that happens, you have no time. When you don’t have any time you get overwhelmed you get burnt out. And get frustrated.

But actually, when you invest money to remove those problems from your life and business. It means that you, as the headspace in the capacity to do more and therefore generate more money by working within the business owner role. That’s predominantly working on the vision.

The money is going to come back to you at some point

With time, when you spend your time and you waste it doing things that you shouldn’t or don’t want to be doing. You’re never going to get that time back that time is gone. So once that time has passed, there is no coming back. Whereas money if you invest that money and for a couple of months. You then don’t see a return or the results that you expected from investing that money don’t invest any more money. And look elsewhere, in what you need to do in order to achieve the results that you crave.

So, I hope you found that really really helpful. I know it is something that a lot of people have and a lot of people have this fear around investing money. And I get it, but I will be completely honest with you and the moment that I started investing in my business sure my operational costs, increased.

But my revenue increased as well. And it opens up a lot more avenues and it means that you are not happier in your business in your life.
